Playing music from the crossroads of Europe; Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and beyond, Wellington based ensemble Mehana stop in for a one-night-only show in Christchurch.
Influenced by traditional Balkan and gypsy music styles, rich and colorful melodies with curious rhythms this afternoon concert in an intimate studio setting will range from the melancholy of sevdah to fast-paced, high-energy dance tunes.
